In the spring of 2006, ICG completed the acquisition of Georgetown Center I, a six-story building at 2121 Wisconsin Avenue. The 100,000-square-foot property is adjacent to the 180,000-square-foot Georgetown Center II, acquired by ICG in 2002. The property is prominently located between M Street and Massachusetts Avenue in the upper Georgetown submarket of Washington, DC, near the US Naval Observatory and the Vice President's residence. Tenants include Georgetown University, ForrestPerkins LLC, and the CW Washington (formerly known as WB50). Following an improvement program which included improving the joint operating efficiency with ICG's 2115 Wisconsin Avenue Property, ICG sold the building to a large institutional investor in February 2011, realizing a substantial return. |
