Stylianos Christofides has extensive experience in major development and renovation initiatives, and has worked on properties throughout the Eastern Seaboard and overseas. He brings a diverse background in engineering and construction to ICG Properties, with a portfolio of projects that range from $3-million renovation initiatives to large-scale infrastructure development programs valued at $350 million and more. Mr. Christofides' career has encompassed several significant infrastructure projects, including developments in Pakistan, India, Tunisia, Egypt, Portugal, and Great Britain. Prior to joining ICG, Mr. Christofides served as a project manager with W.S. Atkins Consultants, the largest architectural and engineering firm in the United Kingdom. An executive with ICG since 1996, Mr. Christofides has worked from both the Washington, DC and Dubai offices. In the Washington region, he has served as development and asset manager for several successful office and multifamily residential projects, including 2115 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, 1600 K Street, NW (The World Center Building), 901 F Street, NW (The Gallup Building), and the Bancroft Place Townhomes in the city's Kalorama district. Mr. Christofides is proficient in directing project operations, asset and property management, acquisition, leasing, and financing. His expertise includes the preservation of historic properties and the construction of compatible new development that strengthens the urban context. He is skilled in managing complex design and development teams, and plays a critical role in advancing the value of the ICG Properties portfolio. Stylianos Christofides holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from McGill University, a Master's in Structural Engineering from George Washington University, and an Executive MBA from George Washington University. He is a member of the District of Columbia Building Industry Association, and recently served as a juror for the 2006 Mid-Atlantic Construction Awards, sponsored by McGraw-Hill. and Northrop Grumman. |
